Root River Hardwoods received its certification through Scientific Certification Systems (SCS). SCS is an independent third-party certifier accredited by the FSC to certify companies to their international standards. RRHI meets the strict tracking requirements for ensuring that products we sell as FSC-certified come from a well-managed forest.

Root River Hardwoods is your complete lumber store. In addition to non-certified products, Root River Hardwoods is now able to provide FSC-certified products to our customers. Our professional timber buyers purchase standing timber to be processed in our sawmill. 

From the sawmill the lumber is shipped to various locations including our Kiln Dried stores which Specialize in custom trim, flooring, paneling, stair parts and interior doors.
